The Hungarian European Society, together with its partners within the DIACOMET consortium, organised a panel discussion for a second time at the Forum 2000 conference in Prague on 14 October 2025. The participants of the section entitled "The Possibility of Dialogue-Based Communication in the Modern Era" were Aistė Meidutė (DELFI), Kristina Juraitė (Vytautas Magnus University), István Hegedűs and Erik Uszkiewicz. The experts discussed topics like the illiberal media systems, the struggle between disinformation and fact-checking, social polarisation as well as the characteristics of populist political communication.
