Fanni Bársony gave a presentation at the conference of the Pensioners' Committee of Forum for the Co-operation of Trade Unions (SZFE) on 19 May 2026 at Benczúr Hotel. The topic of the event was “The Socio-Economic Situation of Elderly Women and Emerging Challenges in Hungary and in a European Comparison”. The presentation focused on the Mothers of Europe project of the Hungarian Europe Society and highlighted that the experience, knowledge and social contribution of elderly women are often undervalued or remain invisible.
