Between 30 September to 3 October 2024, Erik Uszkiewicz participated at the 2024 Warsaw Human Rights Dimension Conference, organised jointly by the OSCE Chairpersonship of Malta, with the support of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR). On 1 October 2024, the Hungarian Europe Society, together with Transparency International Hungary, the American Bar Association Center for Human Rights and the American University's Washington College of Law, organised a morning side-event under the auspices of the conference. Here experts discussed the details and implications of the Hungarian Sovereignty Protection Act and a proposed similar Slovakian legislation.
