István Hegedűs gave an interview to the Slovenian newspaper Dnevnik on 24 March 2020 about the Hungarian authorisation bill. According to him, the wide-spread protest is reasonable, since trust in the Hungarian political system has been broken after the government stigmatised everybody who disagreed with Viktor Orbán's political line.
